Chapter Kate. I'm still in the baby stages of blogging and felt if I wanted a name change, now was a good a time as any. If you're wondering, "Kathryn.. Kate.. What
is your name then?" Well, my real name is Katie. Kathryn is my full name and Kate is a nickname only used by my mom from time to time. I kept the same overall theme in that both are tied to writing in a sense. Chapter Kate also rhymes with Chapter 8
(like a chapter of a book or in this case, a chapter of my life). Coming up with a name is a fun yet frustrating experience and eventually there comes this point when something clicks and that was the case with the rename. What does a name change signify? For me, renaming the blog was just a desire for change and to be honest, I wasn't too fond of By Kathryn Marie. I felt it was too long and didn't really roll off the tongue. With that all being said, after a much too long break from blogging, I'm eager to get back into this!
